Mermaid Cove (Written River)

We cannot rest
Whilst water surrounds us,
Submerged, we sing;
A game, of sorts,
Once won,
We keep our catches
Closely,
'Til surface seduction
Calls out
Again.

As the world fell
Into stillness,
Slowly,
Words between
Those remaining
Proved unnecessary.

Endless Embrace (Written River)

Darkness' endless embrace
Beckons daily
Followers,
Casting shadows on lights.
Present passed,
They wane into surrender's sleep.

Dance With Me (Written River)

Dance with me,
Her eyes invite;
A challenge accepted
Only by those
Sure of their steps.

Illusion and artifice (Written River)

Illusion and Artifice
Reign my dream realms;
To leave means
Accompanying Reality
Beyond their shifting borders.

Fallen Words (Written River)

Fallen words,
Unused,
Rest in slumber;
Their formed shapes
Captured still amidst
Closed pages and ink.
